Comparison of the distribution of organic molecules using TOF-SIMS imaging analysis.

TOF-SIMS is an effective method for analyzing the distribution and penetration of target components in samples, as it can simultaneously perform elemental analysis and molecular information analysis of organic and inorganic substances, as well as image analysis. This document presents the results of image analysis of the "cross-section and surface" of hair and the "surface" of hair using siloxane-based hair care agents. It was confirmed that there are differences in the distribution of components between the cuticles of the tip and the root of the hair.
